Christmas machine embroidery designs are downloadable embroidery files created for festive gifts, holiday clothing and Christmas home decor. Explore traditional and modern motifs featuring Santa Claus, reindeer, poinsettias, holly, snowflakes, Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, lettering and winter characters.
Use these digital designs to personalize Christmas stockings, kitchen towels, napkins, table runners, pillows, tree skirts, fabric gift bags, ornaments, sweatshirts and other seasonal projects.
Choose a motif that matches your project and decorating style:
Smaller Christmas motifs work well on napkin corners, ornament blanks, gift tags, children’s clothing and stocking cuffs. Medium designs are suitable for kitchen towels, tote bags, placemats and pillow covers. Larger compositions, borders and wreaths can become statement decorations on table runners, tree skirts, quilts and wall panels.

Use the hoop-size filter before selecting a design. Common options in this collection include 80x80 mm (3x3"), 100x100 mm (4x4"), 130x180 mm (5x7"), 140x200 mm (5.5x8") and 200x300 mm (8x12"). Always compare both dimensions of the design with the usable embroidery area of your hoop.
Product pages show the exact design dimensions, stitch count and available formats. Depending on the product, downloads may include PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, HUS, VIP, PEC, XXX and other popular machine formats. Select the format supported by your Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Bernina, Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking or other embroidery machine.
For cotton and linen, use a suitable tear-away or cut-away stabilizer based on the stitch density. Knitwear and other stretchy fabrics normally require cut-away stabilizer. When embroidering towels, velvet, fleece or textured fabric, add water-soluble topping so that small details remain visible above the surface.
Polyester embroidery thread is a practical choice for towels, napkins, clothing and other items that will be washed frequently. Rayon thread provides a softer appearance and an elegant sheen. Metallic gold or silver thread can be used for festive accents; embroider more slowly and use a needle intended for metallic thread.
