The Christmas Letter D with Poinsettia Machine Embroidery Design is created for personalized stockings, towels, napkins, table linens and reusable gift bags. The decorated initial can be stitched alone or combined with coordinating poinsettia and pine cone motifs.
Size: 83.0x58.8 mm (3.27x2.31 "), Stitches: 7639
Formats: .dst, .jef, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .exp, .sew, .dat, xxx, vp3
Minimum hoop: 100x100 mm (4x4").
Whenever possible, embroider the cuff before assembling the stocking. For velvet, faux fur or soft felt, hoop a light- to medium-weight stabilizer and secure the fabric without crushing its pile. Place water-soluble topping over the fabric so the letter and small floral details remain visible.
Use a 75/11 embroidery needle and 40 wt thread. Polyester is preferable for washable stockings, towels and gift bags, while rayon provides a softer, more lustrous decorative finish.
Pair the monogram with the Branch with Poinsettia Machine Embroidery Design on a matching towel, gift bag or table runner. Its smallest size, 98.2x59.7 mm (3.87x2.35"), fits a 100x100 mm (4x4") hoop.
For table runners and larger towel borders, add the Poinsettia Border with Winter Cones. Its pine cone details echo the decoration of the letter D. The smallest border requires a 130x180 mm (5x7") hoop.
