Circular Laurel Monogram Frame Machine Embroidery Design features two symmetrical leafy branches forming an open round wreath around a central space for an initial, name, date or short inscription. Two prepared sizes make the frame suitable for napkins, towels, robes, pillowcases, cushions, tote bags and personalized gifts.
The wreath is stitched in one color without thread changes. Depending on the chosen thread, the branches can resemble green laurel, golden wheat, silver leaves or soft lavender sprays.
The font and letter shown in project examples are not included. This product contains embroidery-machine files, not a finished textile item.
Included designs: one circular wreath in two sizes
Color changes: one color
Formats: .dst, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .exp, dat, jef, vp3, .sew, art, xxx
A letter, alphabet, name, date and embroidery font are not included. Add a compatible file separately and test the complete combined composition before embroidering the final project.
The cleanest result is produced on a smooth, stable fabric that keeps the two wreath branches symmetrical and prevents the small leaves from shifting.
| Fabric | Best use | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| Medium-weight linen | Napkins, runners, pillowcases | Excellent natural background for classic monograms |
| Firm cotton | Table linens, gift bags, cushions | Easy to mark, hoop and align |
| Cotton-linen blend | Napkins, placemats, home décor | Combines linen texture with improved stability |
| Twill or gabardine | Tote bags, uniforms, decorative panels | Supports clear leaf edges and frequent use |
| Canvas | Bags, storage baskets, wall décor | Use a size that remains proportional to the project |
| Terry cloth | Hand towels, bath towels, robes | Requires water-soluble topping above the pile |
| Stable sweatshirt fabric | Robes and casual garments | Use permanent support and avoid stretching |
Loose linen can allow the small leaves to move between the woven threads. Lightweight jersey may stretch and distort the circular shape. Deep fleece, velvet and high-loop terry can hide narrow leaf details.
Very thin or transparent fabrics are not the first choice because the backing and reverse side of the monogram may remain visible. Use a matching test piece before stitching delicate linen, silk, organza or lightweight bedding fabric.
For napkins, placemats and runners, choose medium-weight linen, cotton or a cotton-linen blend. These fabrics keep the wreath circular and allow the reverse side to remain relatively neat.
When both sides of a napkin will be visible, match the bobbin thread to the upper thread. Keep the embroidery away from thick hems, mitred corners and decorative drawn-thread areas.
The design can be embroidered on smooth towels, low-loop terry and robes. The fabric must be securely controlled so the small leaves do not sink into the surface.
Add water-soluble topping above terry cloth. Select a letter with enough stitch width to remain visible between the loops; very thin lettering may disappear even when topping is used.
For cushions and tote bags, choose linen, twill, gabardine or canvas. Embroider the flat front panel before attaching piping, zipper, lining, handles or side seams.
Permanent support is preferable for projects that will bend, carry weight or be handled regularly.
The smaller file measures 99.6x93.0 mm (3.92x3.66 ") and may fit a true 100x100 mm or 4x4 inch embroidery field. Confirm that the machine supports both complete dimensions.
The larger file measures 128.6x120.2 mm (5.06x4.73 ") and may fit a 130x180 mm field when the machine supports the complete 128.6 mm width.
A hoop marketed as 5x7 inches may have only 5.00 inches or 127 mm of usable width. That is not enough for a file measuring 5.06 inches or 128.6 mm across.
Print the wreath and intended letter at full size. The monogram should remain centered without touching the inner leaves.

The stabilizer must cover the complete hoop opening. Always test the wreath together with the selected letter because the lettering changes the total stitch load.
Begin with a fresh 75/11 embroidery needle on medium-weight linen and cotton. Test an 80/12 needle on dense canvas or thick terry cloth.
Polyester embroidery thread is practical for towels, robes and washable projects. Rayon provides a softer sheen for decorative table linens and pillows. Metallic thread can be tested for gold or silver wreaths at reduced machine speed.
Do not enlarge or reduce the supplied files independently. Resizing without professional stitch recalculation can damage leaf shape, stitch length, underlay, symmetry and pull compensation.
Royal Present is not responsible for embroidery quality after customer resizing, editing or file conversion.

No. The product includes only the circular laurel frame in two sizes. The letter, name, date or embroidery font must be added separately.
Medium-weight linen, firm cotton, cotton-linen blends, twill and gabardine provide a stable surface for the small leaves and circular shape.
Yes. Use stable linen or cotton and position the design away from the hem. Matching upper and bobbin threads produces a neater reverse side.
Yes. Use structural backing underneath and water-soluble topping above the loops so the leaves and letter remain visible.
The 99.6x93.0 mm (3.92x3.66 ") file may fit a true 100x100 mm or 4x4 inch field.
No. The file is 128.6 mm or 5.06 inches wide. A machine limited to 127 mm or exactly 5.00 inches cannot stitch it.
Yes. Gold, silver or bronze thread can create a formal wreath. Use a metallic needle, reduce the machine speed and complete a test first.
No. Independent resizing can damage the symmetry, leaf construction, underlay and stitch length. Another size should be prepared through the professional Resize of Design service.
