What stabilizer should I use?

Use a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer (80–100 g/m²) for garments like sweatshirts.

Formula:
Fabric weight ÷ 3 = Stabilizer weight
Example: 300 g/m² ÷ 3 = 100 g/m²

• Test stitch on scrap fabric

• Use spray adhesive to hold stabilizer

• Clip jump threads as you go

• Choose a #75/11 or #80/12 needle
