DESIGN FOR WHITE FABRIC
What is the Horned Ram machine embroidery design and where can you use it?
The Horned Ram machine embroidery design features a detailed, rustic ram—ideal for decorating napkins, shopper bags, cushion covers, and rustic kitchen linens. It’s available in four sizes for 5x7” (130x180 mm) hoops, making it versatile for medium-sized textiles.
Why does the needle break during embroidery?
Needle breakage often happens when using a dull or wrong-size needle, hooping fabric too loosely, or stitching a dense design without enough stabilizer.
For shopper bags made of linen or canvas (about 200 g/m²), use an embroidery needle size 75/11 or 80/12. Choose a tear-away stabilizer around 50–60 g/m² for proper support, resulting in a total layer weight of 250–260 g/m².
Common mistakes in machine embroidery
Loose fabric tension
Skipping stabilizer
Sewing too fast on dense sections
Using old or unsuitable needles
