Fabric and Stabilizer Recommendations

Before starting the project, it is recommended to pre-wash the fabric that you plan to use for this napkin. Thick linen is ideal, as it provides durability and texture that supports the intricate design, while also being easy to work with during the embroidery process.

If you’re aiming for a more luxurious look, consider using polyester with a velvet texture. This material adds a touch of elegance, especially when paired with metallic thread to embroider details like snowflakes and snow, adding an extra festive sparkle.

For stabilizing, we used two layers of medium-density stabilizer to ensure a smooth and firm finish. Alternatively, you can use one layer of a thicker stabilizer for similar results.
