Three Singing Christmas Angels Machine Embroidery Designs is a digital set of three separate Christmas angel motifs created for 4x4 embroidery hoops. Stitch each singing angel individually on a napkin or gift bag, or position all three motifs in sequence to form an angel choir on a Christmas table runner. The purchase contains digital embroidery files only; no finished item, fabric, thread or printed pattern is included.
Hoop size 100x100 mm (4x4") - each design
Formats: .dst, .jef, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .sew, .exp, .dat, .vp3, xxx
Concrete hoop required: 100x100 mm (3.94x3.94 inches), commonly called a 4x4-inch hoop. Each angel fits this hoop separately. The complete three-angel arrangement requires three individual placements and is not intended to fit inside one 4x4 hoop.
The included JEF files can be used with compatible Janome machines. For example, the Janome Memory Craft 100E and Memory Craft 1000 support the optional SQ10e 100x100 mm hoop. Machines with larger embroidery fields may also stitch the designs when they support one of the listed file formats.
For a Christmas table runner, mark one horizontal baseline and three vertical center marks before hooping. Stitch the middle angel first, then rehoop the fabric for the left and right angels, keeping the same distance between the motifs. Use printed placement templates or your machine’s positioning function to keep the angels level. Reposition the motifs instead of resizing the embroidery files.
For stable cotton or linen, use a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer with temporary adhesive and hoop the layers without stretching the fabric. Polyester embroidery thread is practical for frequently washed table linens. Gold metallic thread may be used for selected halos or wing accents when the color sequence permits it; use a metallic needle, reduce the embroidery speed and test the thread before stitching the finished project. Read the guide to choosing threads for machine embroidery.
For a larger musical composition, place the Single Color Christmas Singing Angel in the center of a wall hanging and use the three smaller angels as accompanying figures. The Two Christmas Angels embroidery set can be repeated on matching napkins while the singing trio decorates the table runner.
