Doll Machine Embroidery Designs for Girls include Tilda-style dolls, fairies, angels, Tooth Fairy characters and seasonal dolls for shirts, hoodies, dresses, bags, pillows, nursery pieces and handmade felt figures. Each product page provides exact dimensions, stitch counts, available formats and fabric recommendations so you can choose a design that suits your machine and project.
These products contain files for computerized embroidery machines. Finished dolls, stuffed toys, clothing, felt figures, pillows and other physical items are not included.
The collection includes several character groups, making it easier to choose a design that matches the recipient, season and finished project.
Tilda-style dolls are recognized by their elongated silhouettes, softly styled clothing and minimal facial features. Their vertical shape works well on shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, pillow fronts and framed fabric panels.
Some characters are paired with familiar accessories or animals. Browse the Tilda Doll with Bunny Machine Embroidery Design for a gentle nursery or gift project.
Fairy and angel dolls suit nursery accessories, birthday gifts, pillow panels and imaginative children’s projects. Tooth Fairy characters can be used on small cushions, tooth pockets, keepsake bags and bedtime accessories.
For a character connected with a childhood milestone, see the Tooth Fairy Tilda Doll Machine Embroidery Design.
Seasonal dolls make it possible to coordinate embroidery with autumn, winter, Christmas and Halloween projects. Use them on decorative pillows, gift bags, sweatshirts, fabric wall panels and seasonal room accessories.
The Tilda Doll with Pumpkin Machine Embroidery Design is suited to autumn and gentle Halloween projects.
Characters with bold bows, recognizable color combinations or playful costume elements work well on children’s bags, dresses, sweatshirts and separate felt figures. The strong outer silhouette can also make these designs practical for handmade play pieces.
See the Minnie Mouse Tilda Doll Machine Embroidery Design for a red, white and black character with a prominent bow and round ears.
Start with the finished project rather than selecting only by the character image. A design that looks appropriate on a large pillow may be too tall for a small child’s shirt, even when it technically fits the machine hoop.
The category filter helps narrow the collection by hoop size, but the exact dimensions on the individual product page are the final reference. Two designs described for the same nominal hoop may use different amounts of the available width and height.
A 130x180 mm or 5x7 inch hoop does not guarantee that every machine can stitch the complete 130x180 mm area. Some files may sit close to one of the limits. Compare both sides of the selected design with the real embroidery field listed in your machine manual.
Do not rely only on labels such as 4x4, 5x7 or 6x10. Check the exact millimeter measurements and the orientation in which the design will be loaded.
Many dolls in this collection use a WATERCOLOR embroidery technique. This style uses softer shading, lighter stitch coverage and visible interaction between the thread and the background fabric.
White, ivory, cream, pale beige, light gray and soft pastel fabrics usually preserve the intended highlights and color transitions. On black, navy or dark patterned fabric, pale areas may change appearance while dark hair, shoes or outlines can become difficult to see.
Not every product in the category necessarily uses the same construction. Read the technique and fabric notes on the individual product page before choosing the base material.
Smooth, stable materials give the clearest result around hair, faces, clothing details and fine outlines. Suitable choices include cotton, linen, twill, gabardine, quilting cotton, sweatshirt fabric and smooth canvas.
For lightweight knit clothing, select a proportionate size and use permanent support. Very large designs with high stitch counts may feel heavy on thin jersey and are usually better suited to sweatshirts, bags, pillows or separate fabric panels.
Deep terry cloth is less suitable for delicate watercolor details. When using a towel, choose a smooth decorative panel or add water-soluble topping so the lighter stitches do not sink into the pile.
The stabilizer should extend beyond the complete hoop opening. Do not stretch the fabric to make it appear tight. When stretched material is released from the hoop, it can contract and create puckering around the doll.
Yes. A finished doll embroidery can become a flat character for a felt board, activity book, home theater or supervised play. This is a separate craft project; the standard embroidery file does not automatically create the backing, cutting line or final assembly.
Textile stiffener is usually more practical than ordinary cardboard for a handled figure. Cardboard can absorb moisture, crease and separate into layers. Adhesive can assist assembly, but a perimeter seam provides more reliable long-term support.
Some embroidered characters can also be turned into lightly stuffed textile dolls. Embroider the design on stable woven fabric, create a smooth outer silhouette with seam allowance, cut a matching back and sew the pieces right sides together.
Leave an opening for turning, clip the seam allowance around inward curves and add a small amount of polyester fiberfill. Do not overstuff the project, because excessive pressure can stretch the embroidered front and distort the outlines.
This method is an independent sewing project. Unless a product page specifically identifies the design as ITH, applique or a stuffed-doll project, the files contain the decorative embroidery only.
The Royal Present Embroidery collection is created by Ludmila Konovalova, machine embroidery designer. Review the exact dimensions, stitch count, technique and listed formats on each product page before purchasing.
