For embroidery on 160 g/m² linen, use a medium-density tear-away stabilizer (40-50 g/m² or 1.2-1.5 oz/yd²). Recommended options include Gunold TEAR AWAY (42 g/m²), Floriani Medium Tearaway (45 g/m²), and Vilene Tear Away (50 g/m²). These stabilizers provide solid support without leaving residue.
This design has a companion, the Sweet Christmas Fox machine embroidery design. For an elegant look, embroider this design on a girl's dress. On a warm flannel dress (180-200 g/m² or 5.3-5.9 oz/yd²), use a medium-density stabilizer and add a water-soluble film on top for smooth, even stitches. Commercial license included.
